We're a small, husband-and-wife hobby project, so we keep things simple: we only collect the bare minimum data needed to run our fun armchair celebrity hunts, and we never sell or share your information for marketing purposes.

We only collect the following personal information when you enter a hunt:
Your full name Your email address
Any details or proof you provide in your answer
We do not collect payment card details (all payments go through PayPal, who handle their own privacy policy).
We do not ask for date of birth, address, phone number, or any other unnecessary information.
How we use your data
We use your name and email address only for:
Sending you the hunt clues (via email)
Managing entries and contacting winners
Sending hunt updates or winner announcements
Responding to your questions or support messages
Your guess/answer details are used only to judge the competition and verify the winning entry.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of:
Legitimate interests — running a fair and transparent competition and contacting winners.
Your consent — when you submit an entry or agree via the form checkbox.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
We share minimal data only when necessary:
With PayPal (for prize payments to winners only)
With Meta/Facebook (for group functionality if you join our private group – see Meta’s privacy policy)
How long we keep your data
We delete all personal data (name, email, guess) within 30 days after each hunt ends.
Winner details may be kept longer (anonymised) only for proof of payout records.
