How the Celebrity Hunts Work

3 cryptic clues are released at the same time on the website and Facebook.

You solve them entirely from your sofa using online research, film knowledge, interviews, etc.

Pay £2.49 to enter and submit your full answer.

All fully correct answers go into a random prize draw.

The winner receives the advertised cash prize (eg; £75) via PayPal, with proof of payment posted.

It’s fair, transparent, and designed to be challenging but achievable.

The Story Behind Celebrity Sleuths

This small, independent UK-based project was born from one simple, stubborn question that’s nagged at us for decades: why do the best celebrity trivia and mystery games always seem to mean endless scrolling, watching clips, or leaving the house?

We’re a husband-and-wife team in our early 60s now, and we’ve both been obsessed with celebrities, gossip, film history, and pop-culture puzzles for as long as we can remember.

We spent countless evenings debating who was really behind that iconic role, piecing together hidden connections between stars, spotting cameos in old movies, or trying to recall obscure facts from interviews and red-carpet moments.

Those late-night conversations weren’t about gossip for gossip’s sake—they were about noticing patterns, connecting dots no one else seemed to see, and that slow, delicious thrill when the pieces suddenly fit together… it never left either of us.

Life moved on—work, family, responsibilities—and the years slipped by.

We still loved diving into celebrity stories, kept shelves full of old magazines and film books, but the trivia games and quizzes we found online always felt passive: multiple-choice questions, quick videos, or endless scrolling through social media.
